Devourer of Broken Hearts

"I wait for my love outside the school door, ready to embrace him with all the love I can give. He comes out, but not alone, for he holds a hand of another woman. They look into eachother's eyes and share a kiss, while I stand watching, with nothing but tears falling. I run home, avoiding collision. I fall onto my bed wetting the sheets with my sorrowful tears. Then the room starts to darken, the door quietly shuts, and thenot silence. Then a heavy breathing, that was not my own, was moving the hair of my skin. I couldn't move, something was keeping my body paralyzed. Then I felt a cold hand gently touching my chest, then started to push inside my chest, a knife that is cutting through the rib cage, the lungs and right for my heart. I couldn't breathe. Then with my eyes almost closing, I saw the dark creature ripping my heart apart and devouring it. It's body dripped and squelched as it enjoyed it's meal. Afterwords, the creature melted into the floor and vanished without a trace. I layed on my bed, my body still in shock and I couldn't move. Nor could I ever love again.
